     6:30 PM to11:00 PM

Masonic Temple  * 901 Colorado Ave, Glenwood Springs, CO
Could we BE more excited??? We have secured the Masonic Temple in Glenwood for this event. It is an amazing facility for a country dance.
This is a fantastic old building with so much character - huge wood dance floor, great lighting, ceiling fans everywhere, tall old-fashioned windows, dozens of old-fashioned coat hooks, sitting areas, AND, AND, a stage with room for several swing dancers to do their moves.
This will be our official, inaugural dance.  This facility can support 100 or more dancers, so everyone come!  We'll feature a great mix of our favorite country dance songs and everyone will have huge smiles on their faces all night.
Class 7 - 8 p.m.  Scott Hopkins will teach the fabulous "Waltz Across Texas" line couples line dance.
    Open dancing 8 - 11 p.m.
$14 per person, $25 per couple.  Dance class $3,  $5 per couple.  There will be a drawing for a few door prizes.....
You might want to wear your best cowboy/cowgirl outfit to this one.  We'll also have western "costumes" and a photographer for some old-timey cowboy photos.  Possibly the hat shaper too!
Bring your water and favorite adult beverage if you wish, wear hard-soled (leather is best!) shoes.  Adults over 18 only, please.

Tantalizing Tango ! This week at the Blue Sage
Thursday Tango classes continue with Danica and Chris, a great opportunity to learn this unique, sensuall dance form
6 - 8 pm Upstairs in the Blue Sage apartment.
Argentine tango with classic form, flavor and music.  $10 per 2 hour class. The focus of the lessons will be our own bodies and where and how we are in them, then bring that together with a partner to move together. Understanding and appreciating the richness of tango music will also be prominent. The lesson will be an hour and a half with half an hour of music and an open question/help time.
Danica began tango in 2005 and was so impelled by it that she dedicated herself to it full time from the first lesson on. She relocated to Berlin, where she danced every night, took lessons and quickly began teaching. After a few years she felt ready to relocate to Buenos Aires, where she danced her heart out but didn't stay. Now she's living in Hotchkiss and thrilled to help develop a tango community in the North Fork! Please contact her with any questions or for private lessons at danicatango@gmail.com   Tango is an amazing mirror of life, and a never ending development. We look forward to sharing the experience on Thursdays!
