Swing and social dance blog for the Seattle area and the North Fork Valley, Colorado. Mark Willson and Margot Richardson, members of the Savoy Swing Performance Troupe, offer lessons locally in Seattle, Shoreline and points north, and Paonia, the North Fork Valley and Delta. Dance forms include 6 count Swing, Lindy Hop, Waltz, and Salsa! Also offering classes young dancers, as well as private lessons. We collaborate with our pal and mentor, Jodi Fleischman at Left Foot Boogie.

We're Optimistic Paonians!

One of our dance friends gave me this quote:

"Optimist: someone who figures that taking a step backward after taking a step forward is not a disaster. It's the Cha Cha."

Thanks to everyone who has blessed us with their support, friendship and faith in our big move. We could say that our hearts are forever split now, between Seattle and Paonia (and a few other places, too), or we can say that our hearts grow wider every day.
